Lower School Supply Lists ’11 - ’12

All Lower School students need a backpack appropriate for their size and suitable for their needs.

The Parents' Association holds a Used Sports Equipment Sale in September. If your child is in First Grade or above, most of your Phys. Ed. equipment can be purchased at the sale for a very reasonable price. Also, both Lacrosse International in Downingtown and Kelly's Sports in West Chester offer a 10% discount to Upland families.

Pre-K

  • Change of clothes stored in a shoebox with your child's name on it
  • Sneakers for Phys. Ed. days, snug fitting and preferably with laces, but Velcro is also acceptable

Kindergarten

  • Bookbag (large enough to hold a two-pocket folder) with NO wheels, please (wheeled book bags do not fit in the cubbies)
  • Box of Crayola washable markers (8 classic colors, thick)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 1 eraser
  • Zippered pencil pouch large enough to hold pencils and crayons - please label it with your child's name
  • Change of clothes stored in a shoebox with your child's name on it
  • An adult sized, old button down shirt to be used as an art smock
  • Sneakers for Phys. Ed. days, snug fitting and preferably with laces, but Velcro is also acceptable

First Grade

  • Large zippered pencil pouch
  • Box of crayons (your choice as to how many colors)
  • Box of colored pencils (your choice as to how many colors)
  • Several glue sticks
  • Ten #2 pencils

Spanish:

  • 1 Staples three-holed canvas pencil pouch to put in 3-ring binder
  • 1 box Crayola 10 piece markers ONLY Classic Colors (Thin)
  • 1 box Crayola 24 count colored pencils
  • 2 rubber erasers
  • 1 box of 12 Ticonderoga Wood pencils

Phys. Ed.:

Second Grade
